Breathe!
For the first time he sees colors
Brown, Black & the rest!
The week has un-coiled a spur of events
fenced only by respect, he wages a silent war - violent with in, sedate outside
The cry from his bleeding heart..aloud with every creeping day
his hands cuffed by an unknown fear - knows not, not his way
No matter how much you try to look like an American
You can just get so far, but you can never go to the other side.
To die with in is much more sadder than dying a slow death
A wounded soul ruptured at its seams with hatred and anger
He knows not where he is anymore
He walks silence, He thinks silence, He lives silence
Only to dream of not having another day, another tomorrow
It doesn't hold anything for him ...
Eyes shut he dreams of life back home, back in his home land
Where he will be somebody, where he will belong, where he can breathe!
Brown, Black & the rest!

The cry from his bleeding heart..aloud with every creeping day
